The climb on Uluru in 1992. Here a line of climbers can be seen making their way to the top against the blue sky along the top of the rock. Climbers are assisted by a chain fence part of the way up the first section. The local Aboriginal community prefer people not to climb this sacred site but most tourists make their way to the top for the desert view which includes the spectacular Kata Tjuta/The Olgas 25km to the west.
